Idiots of Year Nominee: Rick and Bubba

I think the comments speak for themselves. The idiot crowd laughing in the background, btw, what's the average weight of that gaggle of idiots? 270? 300?

Look, I can respect the Christian point of view on homosexual marriage. It does say in their fictional book that a "man should not lay with a man" and "a woman shall not lay with a woman". However, these guys are right wingers. They're a shrill for the Republican party.

On to why this gets lumped in with the PURE stupidity.

- The comments on "In the year of our Lord" (1:23-1:50)

- The comments on AIDS and it being a "gay issue"

- The comments on gay parents

- Then, it breaks into OLD TIME GOSPEL HOUR

These two are nothing more than inbred rednecks, really. They aren't talented, but because they are CHRISTIANITY UP YO ASS they keep their show. Once again, I have NO issues with Christianity as a whole.

Come on guys, why don't you talk about child molesters in the church? Why don't you talk about the CENTURIES OF MURDER your religion has caused? Why don't you talk about those things? Now, there is one thing that saves them from taking my early favorites...they weren't THAT hypocritical about homosexuals and heterosexuals.

However, they do dabble into things that they do not know about, namely, the comments about being born gay. I'm not here to get into that debate, but I am sick of the christan crap of "you can't be born that way" card.

I ignore these idiots because they are now nothing more than Republican, Bible Banging shills.

A Few Words on the BP Spill

With all the finger pointing in Washington on who's really to blame for the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico (the wildest one being Nanci Pelosi saying Bush is to blame), It was time to do some soul searching, and figure out who was to blame. That's easy, are you near a mirror? If you are, look at it. That's who's to blame, all of us.

Why Matt, why must you blame me? I was too busy watching American Idol when it happened. Look at what's going on. Safety regulations are a joke. Do you realize there are actual human beings who have to work on these rigs? They're gone for months at a time, risking their lives on a daily basis, just so you can put gas in your car to go to work, or shop, or whatever you do. For years, the oil companies have been worse than that ran down restaurant with the health inspector (you know the restaurant I'm talking about...you only eat there when you feel suicidal, and pass it every day wondering if it's even open).

These guys slip million of dollars a year to Congress (and yes, you Obama lovers, your beloved Barak too ($77,000+ just from BP, that doesn't count the other oil companies)) just to keep the regulations down, and to halt the looking into of alternative energy sources. Oh, did I mention that some of the louder voices (Mary Landreu, Bobby Jindal) that talk out of both sides of their mouths, take the most money from BP?

Oh, and there was that fundraiser where Nanci Pelosi (who's actually under 3 separate ethics investigations over PAC money, and was bought off by overpaid ambulance chasers a long time ago) blamed the Bush admin (who's been out of power for two years). She claims that everyone in the offices of over site with the oil is still from the Bush admin, and just let it happen, because they are huge Bush people. Oh, did I mention where the fundraiser was? It was at a big contributor's mansion. Oh, yeah, there is that little fact that said contributor's fortune was made in oil. Whoopsy.

Back to what this has to do with you. The people to blame are the ones who vote for that letter behind people's names. The people to blame are the ones that disassociate themselves to the point that who wins American Idol, or what happens on Lost is more important than what's going on around them. The people to blame are the ones who do what celeberties tell them to.

That covers about 98% of America. So, yes...YOU ARE TO BLAME. If you want to fix the problem. Throw the corrupt ones out. If the person you elect to replace them becomes corrupt, THROW THEM OUT. They can kick you down, but kick back. Show Washington and their friends, it's time to shape up, or ship out. They're there to represent us, not their rich criminal friends.

Memorial Day...The Rant

My apologies, I have not blogged in a week.

I want to quickly get to the point of why I waited two days on writing this post. Well, that's how long it took for the anger to subside.

Why am I so angry? Monday was Memorial Day. A day in which we honor and remember those who died in combat to protect our freedoms. Yet, all you heard on the radio, saw on TV, and the like was SALE! SALE! SALE!

I work in radio, and yes, I know these things are coming up, but why do we have so many sales on Memorial Day? Mostly because the businesses, who honestly do not care about our troops, know that the mall rats, who are human parasites, will be out of school on that day. These idiots could care less about anything, if it doesn't involve how they shop, the latest trends, or what some actor is Tweeting.

Mallrats, and the pop tarts are the problem with this world, really. They come from parents who have too much discretionary income...maybe their father is one of these overpaid ambulance chasers. So, to comfort the fact they have no parents, and learn nothing, they just shop and look down on everyone who has to work for a living. Most of these kids have tons of free time, and no brain. Sure, they could be book smart, but most of them will spread their legs for any disease ridden jackass with a leather jacket.

Ok, rant over. Look, I don't shun affluence, what I shun is idiot behavior. I shun people who don't care about about what is going on in the world.

Back to my point, since when did we get away from taking flowers to the cemetery, maybe attending a parade, or at the very least flying a flag out in the yard? Have we really started to shun those who have the guts to protect us? Look deep inside yourself when answering that question...
